If you are a reliable, hard-working and customer-focused individual looking for a new challenge, then multi drop delivery work is a perfect role for you. Join our busy operation delivering parcels using medium or large vans across East London and Essex post codes. Full training will be provided, with the possibility of further opportunities for progression within the role.
- Earnings from £150 per day, that can go up to £220+ with extras and special routes.
- Don’t have a van? Do not worry. Vans with insurance can be arranged with our Hire Company partner at a cost for approved candidates (Manual driving licence required).
What we offer:
- Day rate for medium wheelbase vehicle (Standard Route): £145;
- Day rate for long wheelbase vehicle (Large van route): £160;
- Fuel allowance per delivery mileage on top of the weekly rate;
- Phone bill support (£1.80/day) included;
- Working up to 6 days a week, flexible, including weekends and bank holidays;
- Weekly pay (from week 3);
- Full training provided, with reduced routes on the first 8 days so you can adapt while learning;
- Packages pre-sorted for your van loading: cages ready to load and go;
- Delivery App guides you all the way until you finish, very easy to use;
- Safe working conditions.
Your responsibilities:
- Load the van, drive and deliver packages safely;
- Follow all safety regulations on the road;
- Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records;
- Interact with customers with a professional and positive attitude.
What you must provide at the interview:
- Valid UK/EU Passport or Right to Work (if applicable);
- UK or EU Driving Licence - minimum 2 years old;
- Address Proof (council tax, water, energy, phone, bank, internet, or any Government letter) no more than 3 months old;
- National Insurance Number (any letter showing).
Other Requirements:
- You must be over 21 years old;
- Experience driving in London zones 1, 2 and 3, for at least 1 year;
- Must have a UK bank account and National Insurance Number;
- Have no more than 6 driving penalty points: we cannot accept any licences with CD, DR, DD, IN, MS, TT, UT conviction codes!
- Criminal Records Background check, as well as Drug & Alcohol test, will be completed by all candidates before starting;
- Drivers must be able to securely park the van at home overnight;
- Vehicles must be in roadworthy condition.
