The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 € per year.

Under general supervision of the UK Service Manager, will be based in the UK service lab in High Wycombe, but will spend approximately 60%-90% of the time out of the office (dependent on customer demand) carrying out field service work at various locations throughout the UK, Europe and possibly the Middle East and Africa. The field service will be concerned with the servicing, repair and calibration of TSI manufactured test instrumentation at customer facilities, however there will be some scope to work with TSI instruments when working in house in the High Wycombe facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess on-site customer requirements, and plan travel requirements to fulfil the customer needs.
  • Carry out on-site service, repairs and calibrations to customers' instruments following TSI in house work procedures.
  • Carry out on-site installations of new equipment at customers' site.
  • Carry out basic operator training at customers' site.
  • Prepare quotations for on-site work.
  • Maintain tools and parts stocks to be able to cover all customer on-site requirements.
  • Keep records and write reports, both in SAP and other systems, of all operations carried out.
  • Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting to end users.
  • Communicate well with other members of the service team, to help provide efficient service to our customers.
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

Education:

  • Basic education in Mathematics, English and Science.
  • College certificate in electronics servicing or similar.
  • University degree in a mechanical/electronics subject.

Experience:

  • 1 or 2 years minimum in the service sector is essential.

Core Competencies:

  • Good computer literacy and accuracy is of paramount importance.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  • Above average analytical, decision making, problem solving and research skills.
  • GCSE level language, maths, reading, writing and reasoning skills.
