About the role:

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating leads, managing inbound, making sales calls, and booking appointments with prospective clients. A critical part of this role will be leveraging communication tooling available to engage with specific customer segments. The successful candidate will contribute to the company's sales goals by nurturing and handing over sales-ready opportunities to the sales team to present TSG's products and services. This role is a hybrid role, where you will be expected to attend our Newcastle or Glasgow Office 3 times a week.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to potential clients.
  • Manage inbound leads, qualifying them before handing them to the sales team.
  • Qualify outbound leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate TSG's offerings.
  • Track and document calls and sales opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Gather target data into the CRM system.
  • Provide feedback on campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging with customers and understanding their needs.
  • Ability to develop a good rapport and close working relationship with members of the sales team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail help in managing multiple calls and campaigns efficiently.
  • Familiarity with marketing communications platforms can be beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Experience in B2B telemarketing role or similar speaking to C level contacts.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems is important for tracking leads and customer interactions.
