Principal Objectives

  • Replenishing main store/van stocks
  • Meeting client and business requirements through accurate assessment and efficient repairs of accident damage dispensers

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment of accident damage dispensers
  • Undertaking On & Off-site accident damage dispenser repairs
  • Stock ordering including sourcing parts / part numbers
  • Replenishing main store/van stocks
  • Loading hauliers vehicles with delivery dispensers
  • Taking delivery of dispensers from Dundee Manufacturing Centre
  • Keep storage yards tidy
  • Prioritising workload & meeting deadlines as dictated by client and business requirements
  • Demonstrate safe working practices at all times, adhering to H&S legislation and company H&S rules and procedures
  • General workshop duties and admin including completing job sheets, updating systems, allocating stock etc.
  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by Management
  • Take care of their own health and safety and that of others
  • Co-operate with their employers
  • Not interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety

Skills & Abilities Required (Essential)

  • HNC/HND in relevant Engineering discipline or relevant experience
  • Keen interest in Hydraulic/Electronic Fault finding
  • The ability to deal professionally with customers
  • Ability to work as part of a small team or alone
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to prioritise workload
  • Technical awareness
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Full UK driving licence

Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable)

  • Experience working in a workshop environment

Education

  • HNC/HND in relevant Engineering discipline or relevant experience

Hours of Work

  • 37.5 hrs per week
