In this exciting new opportunity based at our Longforgan office, you will play a crucial role in meeting TSG UK business requirements by accurately testing and repairing lab repairable items to ensure we consistently meet customer SLAs. This role requires a strong foundation in electronics, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn new skills!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding and repair of items deemed repairable by the business; this can include dispenser control boards, desktop computer motherboards, payment terminals, and tools for field technicians.
  • Working with other departments to ensure project deadlines and SLAs can be met where the lab plays a key role in stock availability.
  • Using our stock management system to ensure stock levels on repairable items are kept at optimum levels.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe lab environment.
  • Warehouse and stock control responsibilities.
  • Identify breakdown trends and where applicable implement processes to allow field engineers to resolve the issues.
  • Track no Fault Found repairs, creating reports that can be used by field team(s) to re-educate and/or upskill team members.
  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by Management.

Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):

  • Experience fault finding to component level.
  • Electronics qualification or appropriate experience.
  • Computer hardware and software skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to pursue self-development opportunities.
  • Work well under pressure and can prioritise workload.

Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable):

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in loading firmware, software, and operating systems to hard drives, SSDs, and integrated circuit chips.
