You'll be responsible for periodic inspection reports, installation condition reports, and completing any necessary remedial work in accordance with our client's specific Health & Safety requirements. Your day-to-day duties will revolve around working on petrol filling station hazardous areas, retail and commercial electrical installations, and electric vehicle (EV) service equipment.

Required skills and abilities:

  • A solid background working in hazardous areas and retail forecourts
  • Able to read & understand design drawings & panel schematics
  • Ability to understand test readings and identify defects
  • Knowledge of filling station installations & procedures
  • Comfortable with MS Office, in particular Excel
  • Safety conscious
  • Comfortable and confident enough to arrange own workload
  • A full clean Driving License

Minimum Certification required:

  • C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection (or equivalent)
  • ECS Gold Card in Date
  • CSCS Card in Date

Preferred certifications:

  • CompEx (7&8 or 1-4)
  • BS:7671:2018 As Amended
  • UKPIA
