This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who knows how to drive registrations to B2B conferences and build engaged professional audiences. You will own marketing campaigns across our portfolio of events, with a core focus on attendee acquisition, audience growth, campaign performance and lead generation. You will be equally comfortable building campaign strategies, writing compelling copy, analysing performance data and executing fast-moving campaigns to hit ambitious delegate targets. This role would suit someone who thrives in a growth environment and wants to play a key role in building a nationally recognised events platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Attendee Acquisition & Event Marketing
- Lead marketing campaigns to drive delegate registrations across TSC’s conference portfolio.
- Develop and execute multi-channel attendee acquisition strategies for senior B2B audiences.
- Deliver campaigns to hit registration, attendance and pipeline targets.
- Build audience acquisition funnels across email, LinkedIn, paid social, partnerships and referral channels.
- Segment and target audiences effectively to improve conversion and engagement.
- Campaign & Content Management
- Plan and execute event marketing campaigns from launch through to event delivery.
- Build compelling messaging and campaign narratives for different sectors and audiences.
- Manage marketing calendars and campaign timelines across multiple events simultaneously.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise activity to improve registrations and ROI.
- Develop engaging content to support audience growth, including email campaigns, website copy, speaker announcements, social media and thought leadership.
- Work closely with internal teams, speakers, partners and sponsors to amplify reach.
- Help grow TSC’s profile and digital presence across LinkedIn and email.
- Data, CRM & Performance
- Own marketing reporting, registration tracking and campaign analytics.
- Manage CRM (HubSpot) and audience databases to improve targeting and retention.
- Analyse attendee acquisition performance and identify opportunities to scale registrations.
- Use data to continuously improve conversion rates and marketing effectiveness.
- Partnerships & Audience Development
- Work with industry partners, trade bodies, local authorities and membership organisations to grow audiences.
- Build strategic media and community partnerships to increase event reach.
- Identify new audience segments and routes to market.
About You
We are looking for someone ambitious, organised and commercially focused who understands what it takes to fill B2B events with senior decision-makers.
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B events marketing
- Proven experience delivering attendee acquisition campaigns for conferences, exhibitions or business events
- Demonstrable track record of hitting delegate registration targets
- Strong digital marketing experience across email, social and content marketing
- Experience using CRM (ideally HubSpot) and email marketing platforms
- Excellent copywriting and campaign messaging skills
- Strong analytical mindset with experience reporting on campaign performance
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills
- Experience marketing events in sustainability, clean energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, transport or investment
- Experience growing membership or professional communities
- Paid social campaign experience (particularly LinkedIn)
