We are now looking for an ambitious, commercially-minded Marketing and Events Executive with 1-2 years of experience to support us within our marketing and operations divisions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Marketing and Events Executive to support the planning, promotion, and delivery of our events portfolio. This is a hybrid role that combines event management and marketing responsibilities, working closely with the Sales & Marketing team and the Head of Events to ensure successful event execution, strong audience engagement, and commercial growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainability, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Delivery
    • Support the Head of Events in the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, roundtables, webinars, awards programmes, and networking events.
    • Liaise with venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors, and delegates to coordinate event logistics.
    • Assist with the management of exhibitor and sponsor logistics, acting as the point of contact for their operational requirements, including stand requirements, onsite logistics, documentation, compliance requirements, and the distribution of exhibitor manuals and event information.
    • Assist with ticket registration, attendee communications, and customer service before, during, and after events.
    • Research dinner venues, accommodation, catering, travel and event services based on event requirements.
    • Coordinate event materials, including agendas, presentations, signage, exhibitor manuals, and digital assets.
    • Support on-site event delivery, ensuring a high quality and seamless attendee experience.
    • Assist with post-event reporting, feedback collection, and performance analysis.
  • Marketing & Audience Development
    • Work alongside the Sales & Marketing team to develop and implement event marketing campaigns.
    • Assist with the marketing content across email, social media, website, and partner channels.
    • Coordinate sponsor deliverables, branding requirements, and promotional opportunities.
    • Assist with sponsorship materials, prospect research, and event-related commercial opportunities.
    • Assist with copywriting for event promotions, newsletters, speaker announcements, and marketing collateral.

Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years' experience in events, marketing, or a combined events and marketing role.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva.
  • Understanding of Hubspot.
  • Experience with email marketing and social media management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
  • Experience within B2B events, conferences, or professional communities.
  • Knowledge of CRM and event management platforms.
  • Understanding of sustainability, ESG, or related sectors.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
