How you’ll make a difference:
This role will focus on maintaining and supporting the operational responsibilities across network infrastructure in our Datacenters, Offices, Branches, and our connectivity services. You’ll also maintain the tooling used within the Networks Team (Network Monitoring, Capacity Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, Vulnerability management, Incident support and problem management, Identity and Access Management (TACACS) and assist in automating day to day activities within the Network Operations tower and ITIL support functions.
This role will have a focus on maintaining the tooling used within the Networks Team and also assist in automating the day to day activities carried out within the Network Operations tower around the main ITIL functions that we support. The Network Analyst is responsible to support and maintain the tooling used to carry out Network Monitoring, Capacity Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, Vulnerability management, Incident support and problem management, Identity and Access Management (TACACS). Under the guidance and support from more senior members of the team the Network Analyst will gather the requirements from other members within the Network Operations team and carry out configuration tasks to enhance our tooling capabilities.
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge across network & security infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of ITIL governance framework.
- Intermediate experience of configuring & managing routers and switches and configuration of routing/switching protocols – CCNA / CCNP level.
- Experience of configuring and managing network security firewalls.
- Experience of network monitoring and performance analysis.
- Experience troubleshooting network and network security devices.
- Experience of network monitoring configuration (Solarwinds, PRTG, OpsView).
- Experience of network access management and configuration (TACACs, Cisco ISE).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI and the ability to create and automate reports.
- Advanced Scripting knowledge with one of the following: Python, Powershell, linux Bash.
