We’re looking for someone who is passionate about data privacy and protection to work in our Data Privacy team. This is an exciting time for TSB as we prepare to integrate with Santander, and we are looking for a Data Privacy Assistant Manager to support the team with this work in light of an increase in workload.
You’ll be responsible for assisting the Data Protection Officer and Data Privacy Managers manage data privacy risk to carry out their oversight responsibilities under data protection and privacy legislation. The role will support critical Data Privacy integration activity, alongside providing advice and guidance to the business and supporting the team with the coordination of everyday activities.
What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy legislation, as well as a good understanding of the wider financial services legal and regulatory landscape.
- Understanding of risk processes and an awareness of the Risk Management Framework.
- Be proactive and take the initiative in resolving problems or removing roadblocks.
- The ability to keep on top of progress of key deadlines and milestones, prioritise effectively and know when to elevate.
- Be a collaborative team member, while having the confidence and experience to manage matters using your own initiative.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using MS Power Platform tools including Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI.
- Provide advice and guidance to the business and coordinate/provide responses to queries and DPIAs.
- Passionate about delivering continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Be committed to developing your career and keeping abreast of regulatory and industry changes.
