Are you looking for your next role in primary education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join The Gordon Children’s Academy on a fixed term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of our school, supporting our vision of making learning irresistible while providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all.
Our EYFS Teacher will be passionate about teaching and learning, have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for achievements and behaviour, with the ability to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum, dedicated to ensuring that all our children achieve their very best.
Although the successful candidate will be based at the Gordon Children’s Academy in Rochester, there may be the opportunity to teach across our Medway Hub incorporating All Faiths Children’s Academy and Cedar Children’s Academy, and New Horizon’s Children’s Academy in Chatham. This role is offered on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave until the end of the academic year.
The Gordon’s Children’s Academy is based in the Strood area. Our Junior and Infant school work closely together to ensure that all staff and children work together as one. We are lucky enough to have a passionate workforce at our school who all care for and respect the fantastic children of our school. We are dedicated to school improvement, and we all aim to provide a happy, safe and fun school environment for the children, and our staff too.
We have high expectations of behaviour, and we recognise that it is our responsibility to listen to the children verbally or by interpreting their behaviour. Pupils of Gordon’s Children’s Academy are proud of their school and have an exciting environment around them to learn in. We encourage use of a creative curriculum, and all children enjoy decorating their classroom whilst they focus on a particular topic across the curriculum.
