About The Role

Come and be part of our Ambitious and Inclusive school! We are excited to announce a series of new roles that reflect our continued commitment to ensuring all students Belong and Achieve. As we expanded our team of Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA), we are seeking individuals who would like to specialise. The primary purpose of this role will be to support pupils across all Key Stages with SEMH needs through one-to-one and small group work, helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and essential social skills.

As our SEMH HLTA you will support individual pupils or small groups to access the curriculum and engage fully in their learning. Working alongside class teachers, you will support in raising pupil attainment, promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. We would love to hear from you if you want to make a positive impact on the outcomes of our pupils.

What we are looking for:

  • HLTA qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
  • Passion for inclusive education and the ability to support all learners.
  • A collaborative team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
