Are you passionate about community engagement, business development, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Community Engagement & Revenue Lead to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of our Training & Learning Centre (TLC) and lettings activities across Portsmouth schools. This is an exciting opportunity to combine commercial acumen, relationship building, marketing, and operational leadership to help grow our facilities and services while making a positive impact within the local community.

As Community Engagement & Revenue Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving income generation, maximising occupancy and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. You will lead the operation of the Training & Learning Centre, manage key customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and oversee the promotion of our facilities through effective marketing and community engagement.

  • Leading lettings & facility hire across multiple school sites, driving growth and smooth operations.
  • Building strong community relationships with groups, businesses, sports clubs and existing customers.
  • Developing new income opportunities and maximising facility utilisation.
  • Managing the Training & Learning Centre and ensuring high‑quality day‑to‑day delivery.
  • Leading marketing and promotion to boost visibility and bookings.
  • Delivering excellent customer service from first enquiry to repeat business.
  • Ensuring safe, compliant, well‑presented facilities across all sites.
  • Line‑managing operational staff and supporting their development.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to strengthen community engagement and revenue growth.
  • Lead communication initiatives for The Portsmouth Academy to parents and key stakeholders.

You will be someone who builds positive relationships with confidence, thinks commercially and spots opportunities for growth. The successful candidate will be highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities with excellent communication and customer service skills. You are someone who enjoys working with a wide range of people and organisations and is genuinely passionate about making a difference in local communities.
