Plympton Academy is seeking to appoint a Head of Health and Social Care. You will join our team of committed professionals teaching our fantastic students. You will be passionate about your subject and the development of pedagogy and curriculum.

As Head of Health and Social Care you will lead by example, develop, inspire and motivate your team and be committed to achieving high standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is now looking for promotion to Head of department in a supportive Academy.

About You:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS and able to deliver Health and Social Care up to Key Stage 5
  • Committed to high standards and raising achievement for all students
  • Keen to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with young people, colleagues and families
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
