We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Science Teacher to join our successful and forward‑thinking Science team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to take on substantial leadership opportunities within the team and to make a real difference to student experience and outcomes.

About the role:
- Teach A level Physics to a high standard, ensuring excellent progress for all learners.
- Deliver GCSE Chemistry and/or Biology in addition to Physics.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment within the department.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team committed to high achievement and innovation.
Additional responsibility:
- We are able to offer additional responsibility (with an associated TLR) to assist in leading and developing the work of the science team.
- Responsibility will include:
- Key Stage and/or subject coordination (Biology or Chemistry)
- Being part of the Science leadership team developing the curriculum and assessment at each key stage
- Undertaking regular data analysis and planning the next steps for key student groups

About You:
- A qualified and experienced science teacher with QTS
- Strong subject knowledge in all three sciences including an ability to teach A level Physics to a high standard
- A passion for science and science teaching
- Committed to high standards and raising achievement for all students
- Keen to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities and the ability to lead others
- A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with young people, colleagues and families
