Looking for a teaching role that offers flexibility? New Horizons Childrens Academy are seeking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a part‑time basis for up to 20 hours per week with the option to be flexible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • You will work alongside our SEND Co delivering outstanding support and education to our incredible students.

  • Your strong subject knowledge across English, Maths and SEND‑specific strategies will help shape the future of our students.

About Us

New Horizons Childrens Academy is a Good school (Ofsted May 2022) with a three‑form entry that teaches over 600 children from the local community. Our aim is to provide an education that meets the needs of all our children and we expect high standards of behaviour and a positive attitude to learning. Staff share this passion and are role models for our pupils with their diligence and turn our staff are supported with a framework that aims to bring the best out of them within an environment that encourages reflection and self‑improvement. There is an ongoing training programme in place aimed at the development of expertise in a range of cognitive tools strategies and resources for established and newly appointed staff.
