Are you an experienced Pension Administrator looking for your next step? The Thinking Schools Academy Trust are seeking an experienced Pension Administrator to join their team based in either Medway or Portsmouth. This is a new role, to support the ongoing responsibilities of the payroll service. You will be responsible for the administration of pension schemes across the Trust, including LGPS, Teachers’ Pension Scheme and NEST.
Our Pension Administrator will play an important role, providing a comprehensive administrative service by processing joiners, leavers, monthly returns, queries, year-end tasks, and in-service pension changes for individuals.
What you will need to succeed:
- Knowledge of Local Government Pension Schemes and/or the Teachers’ Pension Scheme is essential.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands, deadlines and priorities.
- Ensure confidentiality is upheld as per GDPR regulations.
- Excellent administration skills, with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Previous experience of working in a school or other education environment is desirable.
We can offer hybrid working for this role, which is offered on either a part time or full time basis – actual working pattern can be discussed at interview.
