Come and be part of our Ambitious and Inclusive school! Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students within our new Specialist Resource Provision, which is a dedicated provision specifically for students with an EHCP who have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.
The Victory Harbour Vision: To be an integral part of our school and a centre of excellence for children with SEMH and children who, with support, can access opportunities in mainstream education.
What we are looking for:
- HLTA qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
- Passion for inclusive education and the ability to support all learners.
- A collaborative team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
