We are seeking to appoint an After School Club Assistant to join our team at New Horizons Primary School and assist with the daily management of the After School Club, providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children. The successful candidate will be expected to engage with our children in exciting and imaginative activities. You will assist pupils with refreshments, ensuring that hygiene, and health and safety standards are met.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Undertake the daily supervision of the After School Club.
  • Implement activities to ensure the National Standards and out of school play values are met at all times.
  • Maintain the After School Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure the wellbeing of the children and staff, taking responsibility for all Health and Safety matters.
  • You will have high levels of motivation, energy and commitment with the ability to work to build positive relationships with students and their parents/carers.

Core hours are 3:30-6:00 PM (2 hours 30 minutes per day) Monday to Friday.
