Jark Stevenage are urgently recruiting for a Printer for a Stevenage Printing company. This is an established company with strong growth and excellent prospects of progression. This role is a temporary to permanent position for the right person.
The candidate will run a Siat L33 or L36 printing press, printing customers’ designs onto self‑adhesive tape and converting jumbo rolls into smaller hand rolls with the design printed onto them. The machine is semi‑automatic; the operator sets the jobs, manually removes finished goods from the press and replaces fresh cores. The printer must read a job card and understand the artwork/proof for each specific job. The company uses solvent‑based inks printing onto the top surface of the material.
£25k to £28k per annum depending on experience. Hours 7am till 4pm – 20 minute tea break and 30 minutes for lunch.
