Lettings Manager in Harrogate

Im working with an established property business in Harrogate that is looking for an experienced Lettings Manager to join their team.
This is a genuinely varied role covering both lettings management , ideal for someone who enjoys having ownership of their portfolio and building strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
The role will include:
Conducting market appraisals and advising landlords on pricing and marketing
Managing the lettings process from instruction through to tenancy commencement
Handling referencing, Right to Rent checks and tenancy documentation
Advising landlords on legislation, compliance and available services
Managing the ongoing tenancy and acting as the key contact for landlords and tenants
Coordinating maintenance, repairs and contractors
Carrying out property inspections and arranging follow-up works
Managing inventories, check-ins/check-outs and deposit deductions
Overseeing property compliance including gas, electrical, EPC, fire safety and alarms
Monitoring certificates and ensuring renewals are completed on time
Managing rent collection, arrears and debtor control alongside the Accounts team
Dealing with queries and resolving issues quickly and professionally
What theyre looking for:
Previous experience within residential lettings or property management
Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisation and ability to manage a busy workload
Confidence dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
