Job Opportunity: DEA/Stock Condition Surveyor

TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a prominent building consultancy looking to add a contract DEA to their team in Sheffield.

Role Overview: As a Stock Condition Surveyor/DEA, you will use a tablet to record the condition of various social housing properties. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the remaining lifespan of key components, such as kitchens and bathrooms
  • Evaluating the exterior condition of the properties
  • Applying the HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) to identify health and safety risks at each location
  • Conducting Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) assessments to determine energy efficiency ratings

Ideal Candidates:

  • Experience in stock condition surveying or related fields
  • Familiarity with the HHSRS system
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently using technology (tablets)
  • Experience in carrying out EPCs
  • Accredited DEA through Elmhurst or ECMK
