Hard FM Consultant
Location: UK Wide
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Permanent / Full-time
Travel: UK-wide, with potential overseas opportunities
We are working with a leading FM consultancy that is looking to appoint a Hard FM Consultant to support the delivery of technical FM consultancy projects across a diverse client base.
The Role
Working closely with senior consultants and clients, you will provide technical expertise across a range of Hard FM projects, including:
- Asset management and lifecycle planning
- Technical surveys and reviews
- Maintenance strategy and PPM
- FM mobilisation and asset data management
- Project and defects management
- Hard FM maintenance estimating
- FM procurement and tender support
- Development of technical specifications and service delivery solutions
- Energy management, sustainability and emerging FM technologies
About You
We are looking for an experienced Hard FM professional with a strong engineering background, ideally electrically biased with good mechanical knowledge.
You will have:
- Significant experience in a technical FM role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
- Experience managing or delivering FM projects
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and Hard FM best practice
- Knowledge of FM contracts, asset management and lifecycle planning
- Experience with CAFM, BIM and/or emerging FM technologies
- Experience supporting FM bids and tender responses
- Strong commercial and client-facing skills
- PFI / PPP experience would be advantageous
- Relevant engineering qualification; chartered status or professional membership desirable
- Full UK driving licence
