Valuer, Landlord and Tenant - Newcastle - £45,000 to £75,000 (DOE) basic salary + car allowance + COMMS

Hybrid working pattern. Opportunity to run the North for the Lease Advisory team. NO Business generation required. They are looking for a Chartered Surveyor to look after Landlord and Tenant work across the North, mainly within Hospitality, Leisure and Retail. The firm are open to someone from AD level to recently chartered and your base will be the Newcastle office.

What you will be doing:

In summary, the work will revolve mainly around rent reviews and lease renewals on Hospitality and Leisure entities but will also include Retail and Childcare properties throughout the North of England. You will cover all aspects of the lease advisory process providing initial advice, rental valuations, reporting to the client, carrying out negotiations and expert reports to Third Party/Court if necessary.

  • Working with Landlords and Tenants for rent reviews across the firm specialist sectors which are Hospitality, Leisure and Medical
  • Undertake inspections and measured surveys
  • Lease interpretation and analysis
  • Analysis of comparable evidence
  • Negotiating and drafting heads of terms
  • Representing Landlords and Tenants on third party disputes

What you will have:

  • MRICS status
  • Previous experience with Lease Advisory
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel round the North of England
  • Full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle
