We are working with an established property consultancy seeking an experienced RICS or MRICS qualified Rural Surveyor to join their team, covering a diverse portfolio of rural property, land and estate work across North Yorkshire and the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a Surveyor with a strong background in valuations and appraisals, looking to work with a varied client base across agricultural, residential, commercial and rural property assets.
The Role
- Undertaking valuations and appraisals across a range of rural, agricultural and mixed-use property assets
- Acting on behalf of clients in the sale and acquisition of property, land, farms and estates
- Overseeing the management and provision of advice across residential, commercial, agricultural and sporting property
- Supporting landowners with Compensation and Compulsory Purchase matters across a variety of projects
- Delivering Landlord & Tenant advice, including new lettings, rent reviews and tenancy renewals across AHA and FBT agreements
- Building strong client relationships and providing commercially focused surveying advice
About You
- RICS or MRICS qualification
- Previous experience within rural surveying, agricultural property or estates
- Strong valuation and appraisal experience
- Good knowledge of rural property markets, landlord & tenant matters and estate management
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
