I am working with a leading SPV to support the recruitment of an experienced Project Manager. We are seeking a technically strong individual to lead the delivery of capital works and FM compliance projects across a complex public sector estate. This role will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring statutory compliance, asset improvement and the successful delivery of capital investment programmes within a live hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of capital works projects from concept through to completion.
- Oversee FM compliance, statutory works and infrastructure improvement programmes.
- Develop project briefs, feasibility studies, business cases and technical specifications.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Manage project governance, reporting, risk registers and change control processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, healthcare standards and industry best practice.
- Monitor contractor performance, RAMS, permits to work and health & safety requirements.
- Build strong relationships with clinical, operational and estates stakeholders.
- Support commissioning, handover and project close-out activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience delivering capital projects within healthcare, FM or construction environments.
- Strong technical background in Mechanical & Electrical services and/or Building Fabric projects.
- Experience managing FM compliance and statutory compliance programmes.
- Strong understanding of project governance, procurement and contract management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across a complex operational estate.
