TSA Surveying are currnetly working in partnership with a well-established building services consultancy, how are looking for an MEP CAD Technicianto join their Birmingham based team a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves producing high-quality service drawings to support MEP Engineers across a varied and dynamic project portfolio, including: Educational facilities (schools and universities) Residential developments (multi-storey accommodation) Local government buildings Commercial schemes (office spaces) Key Responsibilities Collaborate flexibly within a multidisciplinary team to meet project deliverables Support project leads across all RIBA work stages Produce accurate technical drawings and computations as required Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and adhere to CPD commitments Follow internal procedures, including document filing, CAD layering standards, and administrative tasks Escalate legal, contractual, or financial matters to a Partner as appropriate Essential Skills & Qualifications Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, with working knowledge of Revit 3D Current workload is approximately 95% 2D and 5% 3D, with a gradual transition anticipated toward more 3D-based work Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively City & Guilds Certificate in Computer Aided Design (2D and 3D) is advantageous Demonstrated experience in MEP Building Services environments If this role wolud be of interest, please apply asap, as we are currently shortlisting for this role TPBN1_UKTJ
