Job Description Associate Director – Dilapidations\n \nLocation: Nottingham\n \nSalary: £80,000 package\n \nAn established building consultancy is looking for an experienced Associate Director specialising in Dilapidations to join its Nottingham team. This is a senior role for a commercially minded Building Surveyor with a strong track record in commercial dilapidations, looking to take the next step in their career.\n \nThe Role\n \nYou will lead a range of dilapidations instructions for a high-profile client base, providing both technical and commercial advice.\n \nKey responsibilities include:\n \nPreparing and negotiating Schedules of Dilapidations.\n \nAdvising landlords and tenants on lease-end liabilities.\n \nUndertaking building inspections and producing detailed reports.\n \nManaging dilapidations instructions from inception through to completion.\n \nDeveloping and maintaining strong client relationships.\n \nMentoring junior and intermediate surveyors.\n \nSupporting business development and identifying new opportunities.\n \nThe Client Base\n \nYou will work with a diverse portfolio of nationally recognised organisations, including clients such as puregym, vision express and higher education/universities, as well as wider commercial property portfolios.\n \nAbout You\n \nStrong commercial dilapidations experience.\n \nChartered Building Surveyor, ideally MRICS.\n \nExcellent technical and negotiation skills.\n \nStrong client management and communication abilities.\n \nCommercially aware with an interest in business development.\n \nExperience supporting or mentoring junior surveyors.\n \nWhat's on Offer\n \n£70,000 - £80,000 salary\n \nAssociate Director-level responsibility\n \nStrong dilapidations-focused workload\n \nMajor national clients\n \nExcellent progression and business development opportunities\n \nOpportunity to play a key role in the growth of the Nottingham team\n \nIf you're an experienced Building Surveyor specialising in dilapidations and ready for an Associate Director position, this could be an excellent next step.\n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
