TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a leading building services consultancy, who are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their London building services design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take the next step in their career, with clear progression towards leadership and management responsibilities. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of major building projects, working closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, energy-efficient electrical solutions.

As part of the role, you will:

  • Contribute to design strategy and conceptual electrical design for a wide range of projects
  • Undertake detailed electrical design calculations and technical analysis
  • Produce electrical design drawings, schematics, specifications, and schedules
  • Ensure designs comply with current British Standards, Building Regulations, and sustainability requirements
  • Deliver low-energy, low-carbon electrical solutions
  • Lead and coordinate M&E project teams through all stages of project delivery
  • Attend client and design team meetings, managing relationships and interpreting project briefs
  • Review and check the work of other engineers and support quality assurance processes
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and trainees within the team
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous technical improvement
  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmental objectives across the business

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience operating at Senior Electrical Engineer level within building services consultancy
  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Be Chartered or actively working towards Chartered Engineer status
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems
  • Have excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Be able to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
