Freelance Building Surveyor Hospital Condition Surveys

Location: West Yorkshire

Rate: £300 - £350 per day (Umbrella) + Mileage

Contract: Freelance (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 Weeks

A leading property consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to support a programme of condition surveys across two hospital sites in West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for surveyors with a strong background in condition surveys who are confident carrying out detailed inspections and capturing asset data using AssetiCom.

The Role

  • Working across two acute hospital sites, you will undertake comprehensive building condition surveys, assessing the condition of building fabric and recording findings directly into AssetiCom.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and previous experience using the software are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed condition surveys across two hospital sites
  • Assess the condition of building fabric and associated elements
  • Record survey information accurately using AssetiCom
  • Produce clear and consistent survey data in line with project requirements
  • Liaise with the project team to ensure surveys are completed within programme timescales

Requirements

  • Previous experience carrying out building condition surveys
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • Experience using AssetiCom is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of building pathology and construction
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Package

  • £300 - £350 per day (Umbrella)
  • Mileage paid in addition to the day rate
