An excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to move client-side and take ownership of multi-million-pound new build and refurbishment projects without the pressure of fee earning. Reporting directly to the Head of Division, you’ll lead projects from feasibility through to completion, managing contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver schemes on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The Role
- End-to-end delivery of new build and refurbishment projects
- Manage contractors, consultants, and supply chain performance
- Oversee budgets, programmes, and quality standards
- Lead stakeholder engagement and ensure regulatory compliance (Planning, Building Control, CDM)
- Prepare cost plans, project briefs, and tender documentation
- Review and negotiate contractor tenders and appointments
- Provide regular reporting on progress, costs, and forecasts
About You
- Proven experience delivering construction/refurbishment projects
- Strong commercial and contractor management background
- Knowledge of planning and building regulations
- Technically competent (concrete structures/flooring beneficial)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects independently
- Open to: MCIOB, RICS, or MAPM (or working towards)
