Job Description

Freelance Building Surveyor – Blue Light Condition Survey Programme (London)\\n\\n We are seeking an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to support a blue light condition survey programme across London. This is a short-term contract role, well suited to a surveyor with strong condition surveying experience within occupied, operational buildings and a good understanding of public sector estates.\\n\\n Key Details\\n\\nLocation: London\\nContract length: 2–3 months\\nStart date: ASAP\\nRate: Competitive daily rate (outside IR35, where applicable)Scope of Work\\n\\nUndertaking condition surveys of blue light operational buildings\\nInspecting building fabric, M&E interfaces, and external elements\\nIdentifying defects, prioritising remedial works, and assessing risk\\nProducing clear, structured condition survey reports in line with programme requirements\\nWorking to agreed survey methodologies, formats, and timescales\\nLiaising professionally with site contacts in live operational environmentsRequirements\\n\\nQualified Building Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent preferred, but not essential with relevant experience)\\nProven experience delivering condition surveys, ideally within public sector or blue light estates\\nComfortable working independently across multiple sites\\nStrong reporting and technical writing skills\\nAbility to work within secure and sensitive environments\\nValid driving licence preferredWhat’s on Offer\\n\\nCompetitive daily rate\\nWell-structured, defined programme of work\\nImmediate start\\nOpportunity to work on a high-profile blue light estate portfolioIf you are an experienced Building Surveyor available at short notice and interested in a London-based condition survey programme, please get in touch with your CV and availability
