This partner led, independent Property Group are looking for a Chartered Town Planner to join their successful development team in this firm's head office in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will take a lead role in managing residential, commercial and leisure development applications throughout the region. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice and exceptional client service.
In addition to the Development team, which includes 14 people who are Planners, Chartered Surveyors and RIBA Architects, the firm operates in various areas of property including General Surveying, Property/Asset Management, Rural and Agricultural Consulting and Residential Estate Agency.
What you will be doing:
- Providing pragmatic and commercially astute advice to ensure that clients can successfully navigate the complexities of the planning system across residential, commercial, agriculture, leisure and education.
- Business development including finding and securing new opportunities and clients.
- Project managing and inputting into complex planning applications.
- Managing graduate and recently qualified planning consultants.
- Co-ordinating and responding to development plan consultations.
- Providing first class advice to clients, team members and the wider business.
- Creating a team who are passionate about planning, positive in outlook, and successful.
