We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to support a programme of condition surveys across a portfolio of schools in the Nottingham area. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established project delivering condition surveys on education assets, with a combination of site inspections and home-based report writing.
The Role
- Undertake condition surveys across a portfolio of school buildings.
- Record survey data accurately using KyKloud.
- Assess the condition of building fabric and identify maintenance requirements.
- Produce clear, concise written condition reports following each survey.
- Complete report writing remotely from home to agreed quality standards and timescales.
Requirements
- Experience carrying out building condition surveys.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Previous surveying experience within schools or other public sector property portfolios is advantageous.
- Proficient in using KyKloud for data capture.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to produce professional, well-structured condition reports independently.
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
