The Opportunity Are you someone who enjoys solving complex problems, understanding how things work, and finding practical ways to make them better? I am currently working with a leading Facilities Management consultancy that is looking to appoint an ambitious and analytically minded FM Consultant / Senior Consultant to join its Asset & Facilities Management Advisory team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working across different areas of the Facilities Management sector. No two projects are the same, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants supporting clients across both the public and private sectors.
The Role The successful candidate will support building owners and occupiers across the full FM lifecycle β from strategy, procurement and mobilisation through to contract management, performance improvement and transition. The role would suit someone with a good understanding of Facilities Management and the built environment. It could be an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a relevant built-environment qualification, or someone with around 2β3 years' experience within the FM sector who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will work as part of a team of experienced consultants, helping clients to develop effective FM strategies, improve service delivery and achieve better value from their contracts.
Key areas of work include: FM strategic planning and development Contract management and operational support FM reorganisation and transformation FM design and service reviews FM procurement and outsourcing Insourcing support Benchmarking and market testing Service specification and scope development Performance monitoring and KPI development FM service audits and improvement programmes
What You'll Be Doing You will become an important part of a collaborative team of problem-solvers, supporting clients with a wide range of FM and commercial challenges. Your work could include: Analysing complex commercial, financial and operational information Reviewing FM contracts and identifying areas for improvement Investigating service delivery issues and identifying root causes Developing practical and commercially focused solutions Supporting the development of FM strategies and operating models Helping clients achieve value for money through effective and sustainable contracts Supporting best-practice contract and supplier management Assisting with procurement, mobilisation and transition programmes Supporting the successful expiry and transition of PFI / PPP contracts Contributing to the development of future FM and infrastructure models You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, gaining exposure to both strategic consultancy and practical FM delivery.

You will ideally be: A strong problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges Analytical and comfortable working with detailed information Able to identify patterns, risks and opportunities Organised and able to manage competing priorities A confident communicator who can explain complex information clearly Commercially aware and interested in how FM services can be improved Passionate about delivering better services and better outcomes Keen to develop a career within Facilities Management consultancy Most importantly, you will be someone who is curious, driven and willing to learn, with a genuine interest in improving the way FM services are designed, managed and delivered.
