TSA Surveying are currently partnering with a leading building consultancy to recruit a Stock Condition Surveyor/ DEA for an ongoing project based in Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct stock condition surveys on social housing properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, and assessments under HHSRS.
- Identify defects, wear and tear, and potential hazards.
- Carrying out DEA assessments where qualified.
- Assess the remaining lifespan of key components such as kitchens and bathrooms.
About the Role:
- Surveys will be completed using asset management software (tablet devices provided).
- Complete 8-10 surveys per day.
- Full induction and training on the software provided.
- Outside IR35 paid per completed survey (houses, flats, and blocks).
Ideal Candidates:
- Experience in stock condition surveying.
- Ability to work efficiently using technology (tablets).
- Experience in energy.
- Familiarity with the HHSRS system.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.
- Accreditation with Elmhurst.
- Understanding the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.
