Assistant Asset Manager – Chorley – £25,000 - £28,000 + Benefits One of the largest privately owned commercial property landlords in the UK Proven track record in developing their people The firm operate across Commercial Asset Management, Construction and Land This family owned, private company are looking for an Assistant Asset Manager to join their expanding team, based at their Head Office in Chorley. They currently operate across multiple office locations across the UK, with coverage from the Noth West through to Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart or accelerate your career in commercial property, working within a supportive team environment and gaining hands-on experience across a large and diverse multi-let portfolio extending from Chorley to Carlisle. Not only will you receive daily on the job training and guidance but also the support needed to pursue further education and become a chartered Surveyor. What\'s in it for you Basic salary £25,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience) 22 days annual leave + bank holidays Enhanced pension contributions Company laptop and phone Payment of professional fees, such as RICS An environment where you can develop and progress Company car to use whilst at workYour Role Working as part of a team of four, you’ll be supported to develop the skills needed to manage a commercial property portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Acting as the main point of contact between landlord and tenant Arranging and conducting viewings, negotiating lease terms, and progressing deals to completion Maximising occupancy in collaboration with Marketing and Credit Control teams Handling all estate management matters including lease renewals, rent reviews, and inspections Liaising with in-house surveyors and contractors to manage maintenance and repair works Managing statutory compliance across a range of assets What you will have Commercial or Residential Property Management experience would be ideal A RICS accredited degree is desirable A keen interest in Commercial Property Full UK driving licence
