Location: London or Croydon (Central London or Croydon office) – hybrid working with a competitive salary and car allowance.

Full-time, permanent – opportunity to work with leading UK retail brands on new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs and complex programmes.

Due to ongoing expansion in the retail sector, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our London and Southeast regional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure client objectives are achieved through close teamwork, proactive risk and programme controls and contractual advice.
• Prepare full tender documentation for consultant or contractor appointments, presenting them to the client.
• Administer tender processes for consultant and contractor appointments.
• Provide or obtain advice on contractors, specialists, procurement routes, cost and programme solutions and present to the client.
• Act as an Employer’s Agent on behalf of our clients.
• Administer and manage cost/variation procedures under relevant appointments or contracts.
• Attend and/or chair meetings in line with appointment provisions.
• Prepare financial and progress reports for the client, including required data.
• Instigate value engineering and standardisation processes to optimise efficiency for TSA Riley and the client.
• Propose innovative initiatives on service delivery for TSA Riley management consideration.
• Prepare development and delivery programmes in Microsoft Project, ensuring deliverables are understood and reported adequately.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a construction project management role – transition from other sectors not considered.
• Experience managing retail sector projects is highly desirable.
• Experience carrying out full pre- and post-contract duties in a lead project management role.
• Membership in a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOB is desired.
• Experience administering contracts under JCT, including design and build and traditional forms.
• Strong client‑facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
