You’ll play a key role in strengthening our approach, developing team capability, and contributing directly to TSA Riley’s future success. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Pursuits (UK, Ireland & Canada), the Pursuits Manager (UKIC), plays a key role in shaping TSA Riley’s approach to proposals, bids, and tender submissions. You’ll lead go/no-go decisions, guide bid strategy, develop compelling win themes and executive summaries, and help identify new opportunities. As part of the Marketing & Pursuits team, you’ll drive high-quality submissions across the sales funnel while leading and developing a high-performing team. This role also supports global strategic opportunities where required.

What You’ll Do?

  • Lead and manage the tender pipeline, ensuring clear visibility of strategic opportunities across national and regional accounts.
  • Analyse market and competitor insights to strengthen pursuit strategies and identify new opportunities for client engagement.
  • Apply client and competitor intelligence to shape bid strategies and improve submission success.
  • Own the go/no-go process, ensuring opportunities align with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Support and develop Pursuit Consultants to improve bid quality and win rates.

Organisational Effectiveness

  • Lead the end-to-end pursuit process for strategic and high-priority bids, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver winning submissions.
  • Continuously improve pursuit processes, tools, and response quality through lessons learned, training, and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with regional and global teams to share best practice and drive consistency across pursuit activities.
  • Identify opportunities to connect projects, people, services, and sectors to strengthen submissions and marketing materials.
  • Contribute to Account Management Plans (AMPs) and help articulate client needs clearly and effectively within proposals.
  • Lead and mentor the Pursuits Consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, creating trust and alignment with both technical and commercial stakeholders.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 6+ years’ experience in strategic pursuits, bids, or tender management, ideally within property, infrastructure, or professional services.
  • Previous leadership or people management experience.
  • Proven success managing end-to-end bid processes, including qualification, strategy, planning, response development, and delivery.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong mentoring and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and locations.
  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to produce polished, brand-aligned documents and presentations.
