Overview

We are seeking a Healthcare Planner to join our growing Healthcare Advisory team in London.

This role supports the future growth of our healthcare advisory service line, collaborating with clients to deliver innovative, sustainable and impactful solutions across healthcare sector projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a diverse, integrated team to plan and deliver healthcare projects.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of the healthcare system and ecosystem to provide best‑practice advice and hands‑on support for health facility planning, strategic health planning, and advisory commissions.
  • Define and develop tools and techniques that support our service delivery.
  • Support business leaders with business development activities.
  • Deliver project deliverables including advice, tools and knowledge capture for health facility planning, clinical and operational planning, change management, benefits realisation, service redesign, operational commissioning and post‑occupancy evaluation.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a health‑related discipline or senior level experience in health administration in a hospital or Trust.
  • Recent experience within the healthcare setting and an understanding of emerging clinical practice, innovation and trends, models of care, systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of the RIBA and Health Building Notes processes, UK design guidance standards and their applicability to health infrastructure projects.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, working under pressure in complex environments.
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated team and autonomously when required.
  • Advanced communication and report‑writing skills, including facilitation and negotiation of large groups, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Desire to grow and expand skills in line with TSA Riley values and culture.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in leading collaborative teams of consultants, industry and government partners.
  • Relevant qualifications and ability to deliver project consultancy services within the sector.
