Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building surveys, condition reports, and defect analysis.
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and tender documents.
  • Advise on building regulations, planning, and property legislation.
  • Manage refurbishment and maintenance projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and contractor performance.
  • Conduct dilapidation assessments and negotiate for clients.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Handle Part Wall issues, notices, and awards.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Building Surveying or related field.
  • Full MRICS membership or equivalent.
  • Experience at a senior level in surveying and client projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
