Job Summary

Qualifications: Good understanding of Material Services processes and procedures used in a J.I.T. seat manufacturing operation. Good written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Previous Material Service experience is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Process all incoming shipments into the inventory database (QAD).
  2. Verify all incoming/outgoing returnables and log into container database.
  3. Schedule daily work tasks for dock unloading associates.
  4. Verify inventory accuracy of all dock unloading associates after trailers have been unloaded.
  5. Unload trailers, if necessary.
  6. Maintain FIFO of incoming product by scheduling correct unloads.
  7. Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts as needed.
  8. Verify all unloading associates are following provided operation standards.
  9. Support development of 5S, TPM, and Kaizen programs.
  10. It is essential that associates are on-site in person to perform their duties throughout each scheduled work week to ensure effective teamwork, personal interaction, and supervision.
  11. All other duties as assigned.
  12. Operate yard truck when manpower dictates.
  13. Utilize customer-specific portals and databases as required.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, use fingers, hands, wrists, arms, and lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
