We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. You’ll provide high-quality personal care and support to our clients in their own homes across Wolverhampton.

Duties include:

  • Providing personal care support.
  • Assisting with medication, including prompting or administering prescribed medication and maintaining accurate medication records (MAR charts).
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and drinks, and supporting clients with eating and drinking when needed.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support, encouraging participation in social or leisure activities.
  • Performing household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, household management, shopping, and running errands.
  • Observing changes in a client’s condition or mood and reporting concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Documenting care visits, incidents, and daily notes accurately, maintaining confidentiality in line with GDPR and care policies.
  • Encouraging clients to do tasks for themselves where possible, promoting dignity, choice, and respect in all interactions.
  • Liaising with families and other professionals, keeping family members informed of care progress and working alongside GPs, nurses, and social workers when required.
  • Following care plans and risk assessments, adhering to safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety protocols.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Previous care experience preferred but not essential (training provided).
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
