Our client is a specialist industrial manufacturer with sites across the UK. They are entering a major phase of expansion, with ambitious plans to significantly scale their UK operations over the next 3–5 years. To support this journey, they are seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead a fully integrated supply chain function across material purchasing, planning, production, warehousing and distribution.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a pivotal leadership role within a fast paced, complex manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who thrives on improving processes, driving performance and building capability in a business undergoing positive change.

The Opportunity

  • Lead and develop the full end-to-end supply chain across procurement, planning, production scheduling, warehousing and outbound logistics.
  • Ensure material availability, effective stock management and high levels of customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders and operational teams to deliver a resilient, agile supply chain.
  • Implement and refine systems, processes and KPIs that enhance efficiency, service performance and cost control.
  • Play a critical role in the organisation’s growth and transformation, providing data driven supply chain insight and supporting strategic decision making.

About You

  • We are looking for a supply chain leader who brings extensive end-to-end supply chain experience within FMCG, food, industrial or other fast moving regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong procurement capability and experience managing complex material categories.
  • Proven expertise in S&OP, planning optimisation, inventory control and logistics management.
  • A hands on leadership style, capable of influencing across operations and senior stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, strong resilience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving business.
