Our client is a highly successful and fast-growing UK electronics products business supplying industrial and technology sectors. Known for quality and innovation, the business is on an ambitious growth journey with plans to diversify its customer base and expand internationally. To support this, they are seeking a commercially driven Group Sales Director to join the executive team and play a pivotal role in delivering continued growth.

Role Overview: As Group Sales Director, you will provide strategic and operational sales leadership across the UK and international markets. This role will involve leading the sales, key account and commercial functions, aligning closely with product development, operations and supply chain teams. The successful candidate will shape the go to market strategy, deepen customer engagement and identify new market and channel opportunities.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a senior sales or commercial leadership position within a B2B manufacturing/assembly environment, ideally in high tech electronics, electrical components, or industrial systems.
  • A demonstrable track record of growing revenue and improving profitability through a combination of new business development, strategic partnerships, and existing customer expansion.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams across multiple sites or regions.
  • Strong commercial judgement and experience negotiating complex customer contracts and pricing strategies.

  • Experience working in both medium-sized businesses and larger corporate environments is highly desirable.
