TS Grale has been retained on behalf of the West Midlands division of a global specialist metals products group to identify an exceptional Managing Director.

The business is entering an exciting phase of its development following significant investment and increasing demand from a major OEM customer base.

The opportunity is to lead a c.£60m manufacturing operation employing approximately 300 people, strengthening operational performance and creating the platform for future growth.

  • Proven leadership of a complex manufacturing operation with full operational and commercial responsibility.
  • Experience leading large, multi-shift manufacturing teams within an asset-intensive environment.
  • A highly data-driven approach to operational performance and decision making.
  • A track record of improving productivity, utilisation, quality and profitability through strong operational leadership.
  • The ability to create accountability, operational discipline and high-performing leadership teams.
  • Experience gained within machining, castings, fabrication, processing and assembly or other complex industrial manufacturing environments supplying OEM customers.
