We\’re seeking a motivated and creative Video Content Creator. With this flexible remote position, you will become a full-time member of our team, crafting engaging YouTube videos, collaborating with influencers, and driving our video strategy to connect with our global audience of learners. You’ll report directly to the founder, work within a small 4-person marketing team, and be expected to operate independently.
The Role
In this exciting role, you\’ll create educational cyber security video content for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, scripting, producing, and shooting both short and long-form videos, running content campaigns, and collaborating across teams to promote new courses and product launches.
You\’ll drive growth by re-engaging our 4 million users and attracting new signups with discoverable, engaging content. Additionally, you\’ll manage influencer partnerships to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content distributed through their channels. Your work will have the opportunity to be seen by millions of cyber security students and professionals around the world!
- Create & produce video content: Develop, edit, and distribute engaging short and long-form videos across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with various departments to launch new courses and product features through video campaigns.
- Optimize for growth: Create discoverable videos that attract new users, re-engage the existing 4 million learners, and incorporate trending topics and formats to boost relevance and engagement.
- Influencer partnerships: Build and manage collaborations with influencers to ensure regular high-quality content is distributed across their channels.
In this fast paced role you’ll be expected to create a video everyday, and manage a number of projects simultaneously.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in video production, editing, and storytelling.
- Technical background, such as a computer science course or degree, with proficiency in cyber security basics and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Creative thinker who loves coming up with fun, engaging ideas that connect with different audiences.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable speaking English while appearing on camera.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate trends and performance to guide content decisions.
- Previous experience working in a start-up, ideally within a B2C SaaS company; teaching experience is a bonus.
