Jacobs is hiring a mid-level Quality Assurance Manager - Construction (TS/SCI poly required). This is a full-time role in Arlington. The posted range is $160k to $185k.

Your impact: Jacobs has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager supporting an owners rep program for a government client, the location of this project is Harrogate, United Kingdom. This position requires relocation to Harrogate, UK and the project duration is 20 months. This position also requires an active Top Secret clearance and CI Polygraph.

Position Description: The Quality Assurance Manager shall provide project support, quality assurance oversight, day-to-day oversight. General responsibilities include:

  • Review, document and report on DBOM contractor’s adherence to construction and material quality standards.
  • Review, document and report on DBOM contractor’s use of industry best practices.
  • Review, document and report on DBOM contractor’s adherence to contract and project documents.
  • Review, document and report on the DBOM contractor’s coordination with other contracted projects.
  • Perform routine and scheduled inspections of the construction site.
  • Attend and document DBOM contractor’s daily tailgate briefings.
  • Maintain site documents and daily logs of personnel/companies working at site, daily events, accomplishments, incidents, material usage and milestones met, material and work deficiencies.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification, or similar.
  • Government contract experience.
  • Experience in commissioning large projects.
  • Knowledge of the 3-phase quality system.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Hold a current construction safety certification.
  • ACI concrete construction special inspector.
  • Knowledge of SCIF building construction in accordance with ICD 705.
  • USACE EM 385 or OSHA 510 or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Design-Build institute of America (DBIA), or other advanced certifications.
  • Strong electrical background, with experience with generators and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
