We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Radiographer (Band 6) to join a community medical imaging team. This role is critical in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, delivering accurate and timely results that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will work alongside a team of professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic procedures and ensure high-quality imaging results.
- Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for diagnostic examinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols at all times.
- Provide guidance and support to junior radiography staff and students.
Required Skills
- Certification in Diagnostic Radiography.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience as a Radiographer, preferably at a Band 6 level.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
