The company designs and manufactures specialist engineered products supplied worldwide, operating within a quality-critical environment where precision, reliability and traceability are essential.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, supporting audits, resolving quality issues and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
Manage non-conformances, customer complaints and corrective actions.
Carry out root cause analysis and implement improvements.
Maintain quality documentation and procedures.
Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections.
Use inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, gauges and shadowgraphs.
Support production, engineering, suppliers and customers on quality matters.
Requirements 5+ years experience in a Quality Engineer role within manufacturing or precision engineering.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
